What happened at Boston harbour

Part-1 of this newsletter went out exactly 24 hours ago as I anxiously waited for Sakshi at Boston Harbour.

The plan for the day has been sketched out to the t. Kunal picked her and her brother up from the airport, took a detour on the journey and halted by the harbour.

Sakshi later said that the sight of me running towards the car would always be seared in her memory. She had no idea that I was in Boston and what was to come.

Everything quickly clicked into gear. I covered Sakshi’s eyes and walked her to the spot I had asked her out eight years ago. Kunal logged on the Zoom call our families had excitedly gathered on, and began live streaming events. Her brother had his camera prepped and began documenting the moment.
